Research by Dr. Travis Bradberry concluded that EQ is responsible for 58% of your job performance and 90% of top performers have high EQ.
Wired to be Social
People are wired to be social. There is no ‘I’ in ‘team.’ The whole is greater than the sum of its parts. From Greek philosophy to sports teams to modern neuroscience the case is closed – humans are social animals. A well functioning team of average performers will outperform a dysfunctional team with a superstar. EQ determines how we interact in a team environment – this includes how we communicate, interact, manage tasks, and grow together.
